Hair and Skin Care Event for African American Foster Children is an event where non-black foster parents bring their black foster children to have their hair done, while also receiving education on hair and skin care maintenance for African American children.
The Community Appreciation event is an open community event, offered at no cost to children and families and is geared towards empowering our youth through skills challenges centered around various sport activities with rewards and prizes. The day also includes team building exercises and mini workshops that address the importance of education, nutrition, physical health, mental health and financial literacy.
We promote the importance of Mental Health and Mental Discipline through mentoring and workshops. We discuss our "Fundamental Keys" and outline how they are essential and instrumental tools of life.
